摘要:
社会语言学中对于语言景观(the linguistic landscape)的研究有日益增加的趋势。[1]本研究主要的目的有两个:一将语言景观纳入话语研究的范畴,扩大其研究内容,反映科研跨领域之趋势; 第二个目的在于研究全球化浪潮下,社会变迁如何呈现于周遭环境的语言景观。本研究选定台湾台中市火车站前的宫原眼科一带作为研究的范围,透过人类学的田野调查方法,观察、记录并分析该区域的语言景观。结论说明了语言景观的多层次造景(multi-landscaping)和互文性(intertextuality)有助于了解社会变迁。
