摘要:
新西兰新闻评议会是全国性的新闻行业自律组织,致力于以公正适当的裁决去解决公众的投诉,以维护公共利益并尽力维持新西兰新闻的专业水准。独立的机构运作、多元的委员构成及详细的投诉与评议流程规定保障了该组织功能的实现。近年来,新闻评议会受理的媒体伦理失范问题主要为报道不够准确平衡、侵犯隐私等。新西兰新闻评议会重视公共利益,评议过程公开公正,但也存在着原则模糊、公众认知不足、效率低下等问题。如何在新媒体环境下进行变革,是新西兰新闻评议会考虑的重要问题。
