摘要:
软实力已作为提升国家实力的发展战略之一,广泛地应用于公共外交和塑造国家形象的实践中。西方学术界对软实力这一概念提出诸多质疑与争论。不管是在学术界还是公共外交实践中,对软实力效果的评估主要局限于“主体中心论”。作者在文中通过对软实力概念的起源——现实主义传统下的权力概念进行了回顾与阐述,为理解和分析软实力提供了一个理论框架。同时,作者综述了现存西方文献中对软实力效果研究的主要研究方法,并借鉴计算机科学、公共关系学与市场学的研究方法,构建了以“客体为中心”的衡量软实力效果的新的理论与方法论框架。
